These earphones have a cable that runs between the earpieces, but they connect to your phone or music player using wireless Bluetooth version 3.0. They support the Bluetooth Hands Free Profile (HFP) and the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), allowing them to be used for both audio playback and phone communications.

The flat cable that runs between the earpieces is about 60cm long and contains the in-line controls and microphone. The inline controls include volume up/down buttons, a play/pause/select button, and an EQ/Power button.

Setup and operation is made easier by the use of voice feedback, which tells you when Bluetooth pairing is initiated and completed, when the volume is at the lowest or highest level, which of the seven preset equaliser settings has been selected, and which language is selected for feedback. The voice feedback makes these headphones particularly suitable for individuals with vision impairment.

The headphones contain an internal, rechargeable, lithium-ion battery. It is recharged using a USB power source connected to the left earpiece with a micro USB cable.
